Hi! I’m Tracey and I am so glad you’re here! I founded Second Horizon because I know what it costs to start over, and I know it feels so much better with someone beside you.

My family came to Canada as refugees from Vietnam. I grew up with poverty and racism, and I grew up inside a community that carried us. That is where the whole thing starts. People gave me something I could not have earned on my own, and I have spent my life trying to return it.

I spent over two decades as a public servant. I earned a business degree and a CPA designation. I taught at the University of Regina. I am serving my second term as a public school board trustee, and I give time and fundraising efforts to the SCEP Centre, Gift of Giving, Jim Pattison Children's Hospital, Souls Harbour, Sophia House, and Carmichael. I have worked in policy development, financial management, program design, stakeholder relations, and community building, which means I have sat on the institutional side of most tables my clients are now facing.

I am a mother, a wife, and a woman who chose to build something of her own.

I understand intimately the neurodivergent, perimenopause and cancer-journey life. Because I live it. And I am determined to help and support those who need me.

That is my Second Horizon.
